Relentless coastal sun
Open sky off the gulf means long, direct sun on the glass. Ceramic film rejects the infra-red heat so the cabin climbs slower and the air-con works less on the drive home.
Adelaide, Enfield / Somerton Park / Elizabeth South

Cars kept by the coast cop relentless sun, glare off the water and salt in the air. Tint Bros Brighton fits ceramic film just up the road on Paringa Ave, so Glenelg drivers get a cooler, glare-free cabin without the trek across town.
One standard of work, fitted close to the Glenelg foreshore.
Window tinting in Adelaide with Tint Bros starts from $345 and ranges up to $745, depending on the film tier and your vehicle. For Glenelg drivers that price is fitted at our Somerton Park workshop, trading as Tint Bros Brighton, a short run back from Jetty Road and the coast.
Every job uses genuine ceramic film across four tiers, matched to how you actually use the car. The team walks you through the shade and heat rejection in person, so a daily beach run and a weekend cruiser each get the right spec rather than a one-size fit.
Sun, glare and salt all wear at a car parked near the beach. Film answers each one.

Low sun bouncing off the sea and wet roads is hard on the eyes near the foreshore. Quality tint knocks that glare back without darkening your night vision.
Salt, sand and constant UV wear at an interior fast this close to the beach. Film blocks the UV that fades seats, trim and the dash, protecting resale as well as comfort.
From $345 to $745. Higher tiers reject more infra-red heat for a cooler cabin on the drive home.

Life near the beach is tougher on paint than most drivers expect. Salt air, sand and constant sun all wear at a finish over time. A ceramic coating adds a hard, slick layer that sheds water and dirt, so a wash takes less effort and the gloss holds for longer.
Plenty of coastal owners run tint and a coating together and treat it as one visit at Somerton Park, since the store fits both.

Most passenger vehicles take around 3–4 hours. Larger SUVs, vans, or full-car packages can take a little longer. We recommend dropping your vehicle off and collecting it later the same day.
Ceramic tints use nano-ceramic particles to block significantly more heat and UV than standard dyed or metallised films, without interfering with radio, GPS, or mobile signals. They're clearer, longer-lasting, and far more comfortable, which is why we fit ceramic film across all of our tiers.
Quality film is precision-engineered to keep excellent visibility. We offer a range of VLT (visible light transmission) levels, from a lighter 35% down to deeper 20% and 5%, and we'll advise the best shade for your driving needs and South Australian regulations.
Washing the exterior is fine, the film cures on the inside of the glass, so outside water won't affect it. After a fresh ceramic coating we recommend waiting about 7 days before washing and using a pH-neutral shampoo to protect the finish.
