Your tint, warrantied and on record

Every window film we fit is backed by the film maker and recorded against your vehicle, so the cover is documented, not just promised.

Manufacturer-backedRecorded to your VINTransferable4 film tiers

Every window film Tint Bros fits carries a manufacturer-backed warranty, recorded against your name, registration and VIN, and it stays with the car for as long as you own it.

The exact cover comes from the film maker and varies by tier, and premium ceramic films carry longer manufacturer-backed warranties. Sell the car and the warranty can move to the new owner for a small transfer fee. No fine-print surprises, just a record tied to your vehicle.

02How it is recorded

Documented, then it travels with the car

Your cover is written down at fitting and stays attached to the vehicle, even through a sale.

Recorded at fitting

When your film goes on, we record it against your name, registration and VIN, so the cover is documented from day one.

Covered while you own it

The warranty stays valid for as long as you own the vehicle. Keep to simple ammonia-free care and the film maker's cover stands behind the tint.

Selling the car?

The warranty can move with the car. The new owner transfers it into their name for a small fee, so a tinted car keeps its cover on resale. Just ask our team.

03What is covered

What a film warranty stands behind

Manufacturer film warranties are written to address the ways film can fail, and simple care keeps that cover valid.

A film warranty stands behind manufacturing and installation defects like bubbling, peeling, cracking and adhesive failure. It does not cover accidental damage or harsh cleaning, and simple ammonia-free care keeps your cover valid for the life of the film.

Manufacturer cover addresses

  • Bubbling and blistering
  • Peeling or lifting at the edges
  • Cracking and crazing
  • Adhesive failure
  • Colour change and fading over time

What keeps your cover valid

  • Let the film cure for the first few days before winding tinted windows down
  • Leave the inside of the tinted glass unwashed for about a week
  • Clean with a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free product
  • Skip abrasive pads and ammonia-based cleaners
04Warranty questions

Cover, care and longevity, answered

  • Yes. Every window film we fit carries a manufacturer-backed warranty, and the exact cover varies by the film you choose. We record your name, registration, and VIN so the tint stays covered while you own the vehicle, and if you sell the car the new owner can transfer the warranty into their name for a small fee, just ask our team for details.

  • For the first 3–5 days, avoid rolling tinted windows down. Don't clean the inside of the tinted glass for at least one week. When you do clean it, use a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner, never abrasive materials on tinted surfaces.

  • With proper care, quality tint can last 10–15 years or longer, and our premium ceramic films carry longer manufacturer-backed warranties. UV exposure, cleaning habits, and film quality all influence how long it stays looking its best.
