02Aftercare
Look after it like we do.
New tint needs a few days to cure before you wind the windows down, and about a week before you clean the inside of the glass. From then on, use only an ammonia-free cleaner and a soft microfibre, and every product in the Tint Bros shop is film-safe from day one.
For the first 3–5 days, avoid rolling tinted windows down. Don't clean the inside of the tinted glass for at least one week. When you do clean it, use a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner, never abrasive materials on tinted surfaces.
Washing the exterior is fine, the film cures on the inside of the glass, so outside water won't affect it. After a fresh ceramic coating we recommend waiting about 7 days before washing and using a pH-neutral shampoo to protect the finish.
