Decontaminate and cut
Installation is exacting work. We decontaminate the paint, then either bulk-cut the film to the panel or use computer-cut patterns tailored to your model.

Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing urethane layer applied over your paint that absorbs stone chips, scratches, and road rash before they ever reach the surface underneath.
Paint protection film, or PPF, is a tough, clear urethane layer bonded to the outside of your paint. It takes the hits your paint would otherwise take: stone chips off the highway, scratches from bushes and car parks, bug etching, and general road rash.
It is the strongest physical defence available for paint. Where a ceramic coating is a thin chemical layer that guards against grime and UV, PPF is a genuine sacrificial barrier thick enough to stop debris.
Adelaide roads throw plenty at a car: loose stone on country runs, gravel off the back of trucks, and the grit that peppers the front of anything driven on the freeway. PPF takes those hits so your paint does not, which matters most on darker colours and on the leading edges that chip first.

Quality film has a self-healing top layer. Light swirls and fine scratches lift out on their own with warmth from the sun or a warm wash, so the surface keeps looking fresh rather than collecting marks.
Modern PPF is also virtually invisible once installed. Fitted properly, with edges wrapped where possible, it disappears into the panel: you keep the exact colour and gloss of your paint, now with armour over it. A hydrophobic top finish means water and dirt bead and rinse away.

You can protect as much or as little as you like. A front-end package covers the highest-impact areas: bonnet, front bumper, guards, and mirrors, the panels that take the worst of the highway. High-wear add-ons like door edges, door cups, and the boot loading lip guard against day-to-day chips.
A full-body wrap protects every painted panel for owners who want complete peace of mind. We will talk you through what makes sense for how and where you drive, so you are not paying to cover panels that never see harm.
Owners of new cars often wrap the front end straight away to keep the paint factory-fresh. On a car you plan to keep for years, that early protection also pays off when it comes time to sell.

They solve different problems, and many owners fit both. PPF is physical armour against impact and abrasion. A ceramic coating is a slick, glossy layer that keeps paint clean and guards against UV and chemical staining, but it will not stop a stone chip.
The premium combination is PPF on high-impact panels with a ceramic coating over the top, so you get impact protection and easy-clean gloss together. If you can only do one, choose based on your biggest worry: chips or cleaning.
Preparation
Installation is exacting work. We decontaminate the paint, then either bulk-cut the film to the panel or use computer-cut patterns tailored to your model.
Fitment
The film is slipped, positioned, squeegeed, and the edges are tucked or wrapped for a clean, near-seamless look.
Honest timing
Larger coverage takes longer and the film needs time to fully adhere and clear, so we will give you a realistic timeframe when we quote. Rushing this stage is how you get lifting edges, so we do not rush it.
First week
Once fitted, the film needs a few days for any installation moisture to clear and the edges to settle. We will tell you how to look after it in that first week so it beds in cleanly.
Tint Bros has protected Adelaide vehicles since 2020, and our fitters bring the same precision to film work whether it is tint or PPF. We stock quality films and match the right product to your car and budget.
Fit your PPF at Enfield, Somerton Park, or Elizabeth South, and pair it with a ceramic coating or window tint for complete protection. Get a quote and we will scope the coverage that suits your driving.

Yellowing, water spotting and edge contamination are what age a neglected film. The PPF we fit has a hydrophobic top finish so water and dirt bead and rinse away, and we recommend a dedicated PPF sealant as aftercare: it bonds to the film and resists yellowing, so the film stays clear and virtually invisible.
Yes. PPF is a sacrificial barrier, fitted to take the stone chips and abrasion so your paint does not, and a panel of film can be removed and replaced by an installer once it has done its job. That is why owners of new cars often wrap the front end straight away: the paint underneath stays factory fresh, which pays off when it comes time to sell.
